PROGRAM Housing

Students are responsible for finding their own housing.  Two options are listed below to assist in locating suitable accommodations:

  1. On campus housing:  on campus housing will available from May 26th – August 3rd, 2018 (dates are approximate and will be confirmed in Spring 2018).  2017 rates ranged from $31/night + tax per person for a double room in a shared apartment to $41/night + tax for a single room in a shared apartment.  2018 rates may be slightly higher.  Details can be found at https://www.vanderbilt.edu/meetatvanderbilt/intern-housing/
  2. RotatingRoom.com – this is a student-run website that helps medical students find and post sublets.  Select “I need a room” and choose “Vanderbilt University” from the first drop down.  For the hospital choice, you may choose any of the three hospitals listed.  They are all on or adjacent to the Vanderbilt campus.

The Vanderbilt Medical Student Summer Research Training Program is supported by the Vanderbilt Short Term
Research Training Program for Medical Students (NIH grant DK007383), Vanderbilt Reearch Training in
Diabetes and Endocrinology (NIH grant T32 DK007061), and the Vanderbilt Diabetes Research and
Training Center (NIH grant DK20593).

Vanderbilt University is committed to principles of equal opportunity and affirmative action.
